Of the Under-Story
Of the Under-Story is a design that utilized majestic
spaces created by the long arching branches
of towering evergreens near the shores of Lake
Michigan in South-eastern Wisconsin. The goal
was to create a garden that served as a quiet retreat
within the shade speckled sunlight. This was
accomplished by integrating a combination of Astillbe,
Hydrangeas, Ferns and host of other shade loving
plants amongst the Fond du Lac Lannon Stone patio,
walkway, and borders.
