Please Stand By…
A visual interpretation of the art of waiting
Put on hold, next in line, sitting idle, a delay, to linger, holding your horses, an interval, a time lag or pause. The seconds pass, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, it feels like a lifetime, wasted time. You bide your time, pass it, twiddle your thumbs, twitter it, tap your foot, the angst mounts inside. Patience grows thin, you want to act, but are feeling stifled. Hope and optimism hold steadfast all knowing that one action, decision, meeting, conversation, dumb luck, right place at the right time could update your status. Please stand by…
