Green Dog
In an age of climate crisis every little bit counts, even the dog
needs to consider his carbon foot print. Over 85% of Porter's
eco-roof doghouse was constructed from re-purposed
materials. The 24 square foot eco-roof is planted with Irish
Moss and 9 different varieties of sedum. This plant materials
assists in keeping the house warm in the winter and cool in the
summer, not to mention the plant's ability to sequester carbon.
The inside of Porter's house is insulated with cotton insulation
created from scraps from the production of making blue jeans.
Porter proudly proclaims he is the greenest dog in town!
